WiFi Phone Adventures

It has been a frustrating time of late as my phone lines have been down for the last couple of days. Having no WiFi mobile phones, or any mobile phones for that matter, has completely cut off all my means of communication. I can't even sign up to a mobile phone plan online as our internet runs though the phone lines! I might have to make the treck out to a mobile phone store tomorrow and sign up to a cap plan with a free WiFi phone. I was hoping to have the time and resources to thoroughly research all the mobile phones I was interested in buying before venturing out to the phone store, but it looks like this is my only option unless I just borrow second hand mobiles for the time being.

The mobile phone will need to have mobile tunes, GPS, and 3G connectivity before I will consider buying it. In the past I have thought about buying a PDS mobile phone but I think I will just stick with a news mobile as I don't actually need all the features available with a PDA phone. I'm looking forward to using my WiFi phones to search the internet and check my email no matter where I am. It will be a nice change having this ability at my fingertips. I can't wait to watch the phone videos either. I can either watch them live over the internet or use my computer to upload videos to my phone. It's amazing what useful features they pack in to mobile phones these days!

Depleting Bank Accounts

Break out your bank account details ladies and gentlemen, it's time to shop online!

My finances are looking tops at the moment so I am taking advantage of this unexpected wealth and buying all the items I have been desiring for a long time. I will avoid telling my financial advisor about this plan but i'm sure my banks will notice the depleting money in my online bank accounts. It will be a satisfying but expensive venture!

Surfing for Cards

I have always wondered what all the different features of my credit card mean. There are these things called balance transfers and interest free days. They sound very appealing but i'm not actually sure what they're all about. I need a new credit card as the interest rates on my current card are very high and i'm paying far too much in interest. I'm making my decision between the
Aussie MasterCard and some HSBC Credit Cards. Each look like they have some great rates and features but i'm not sure which of these is my priority yet.

There are quite a few others I have in mind so I will need to check out all the credit card companies and get the details and features of each one to compare and make the right decision. This choice is very important as it could end up saving me a lot of money. Rewards programs wouldn't go a stray either as all my online shopping could actually provide me with enough points for free stuff! I will apply online once I have made my decision as online credit card applications seem to have the quickest response and I may even receive my card at the beginning of next week. I will hold off on my credit card application till tomorrow so I can sleep on my decision to make sure I choose the right card.

Credit Card Service with a Smile

I know we all think our credit card is the best out there but I have just discovered a whole new world of credit card services. They range from fraud prevention technology to an improved rewards program, you can't go wrong! I've been searching for years to find the perfect credit card and this might just be the one. It has great interest rates on purchases and cash advances and seems to be the best credit card deal currently available. I could talk for hours about this card but I fear I would never stop marvelling at its brilliant features. My financial advisor has also been raving about this card and has encouraged me to apply online to get the quickest response. I am very keen but just need to double check the conditions for balance tranfers with him incase I am unable to take advantage of this offer.

Bank cards can be a bit of a hit or miss when it comes to interest rates as they can change at any time regardless of when you signed up or how long you have been with the bank. It's a good idea to regularly check rates and keep track of the rate changes to your online credit cards. One website I have found to be particularly useful in this regard is www.CreditCardCompanies.com.au. It has information on all the credit card companies in Australia and has a comparison page with all the current credit card interest rates. I've bookmarked it already and plan to email the link to everyone I know as it has been so handy and informative.

Savings Accounts

Choosing the right savings account can be a difficult job.

So many banks and so many products to choose from. Some of the most important points to consider when choosing new bank accounts is to find the product that offers what you need. All the banks offer internet banking, high interest savings accounts, the ability of paying bills online, Term Deposits and a bucket load of other features. The best thing to do is visit a few of the independent websites that compare the bank accounts online by interest rate, fees and other options.

Rolling In It

I'm pleased to say I finally received my bonus at work! I've been waiting for months for this payment and now my finances can rest easy with this lump sum of glorious money! I'm going to set up a saving account with ING so my money can grow fairly quickly and I can then proceed to roll in it. The interest rates are brilliant for saving at the moment so now is definitely the time to transfer any current savings into a saving account and reap the benefits!

I'll use some of the online services to setup an automatic transfer of $50 every payday into my saving account so I don't have to remember to do it manually. I'll get a great surprise at the end of the year when I see my account statement! Here's to financial splendour!

Business Endeavours

My cousin has been dabbling in do it youself website development classes and is determined to open up his own business teaching others these skills. He'll need a loan to start up the business but once it's established, then his finances will steadily improve. It seems small business loans are the best loan option that we can see so far but plan to look into it further with the help of a financial advisor.

There are so many loan deals available at the moment, including some great credit card offers, that I might have to take one out myself to reap the rare benefits. I have been on the market for a new gold plated bicycle pump so this may be my crowning moment thanks to an interest free loan currently on offer!

I might join my cousin on his trip to the financial advisor so we can both get things rolling and apply for an online loan. I've heard it can take weeks or even months for a loan to be approved if it is not completed online and, as we're in need of quick loans, online applications are our only option.

Fingers crossed all our financial dreams come true!
